Edith Natalia Villegas Garcia
Researcher at Laboratory of Data Engineering

With a background in medical physics and having worked several years in radiation protection and metrology, I decided to get into the field of data science. Currently, I am studying the internal representations of deep neural networks with a wide range of data analysis techniques, focusing on models applied to biological sequence data. I am also interested in applications of artificial intelligence to life sciences, particularly proteins.
