Giorgio Graditi, Board member

Giorgio Graditi he has been President of MEDENER, the association recognized by the European Commission that brings together the national agencies of the Mediterranean countries engaged in the field of energy efficiency and renewable sources, since 2019.

He is also: President of SIET S.p.A., a leading company in testing for the development and experimentation of thermomechanical components and systems for nuclear power plants and their safety, and for electricity production plants; Member of the Board of Directors of the University of Cassino and Lazio Meridionale; Member of the Board of Directors of Scientific and Technological Area of Trieste – Area Science Park, public research body supervised by the Italian Ministry of University and Research; Member of the Board of Directors of NEST-Network 4 Energy Sustainable Transition – Partnership, funded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). He is the Coordinator of the Scientific Technical Committee of the National Energy Technology Cluster and Deputy Coordinator of the Joint Program on Smart Grids within EERA – European Energy Research Alliance.

Also, he is responsible for numerous national and European projects and agreements with Ministries, in particular the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, and stakeholders in the energy sector. He is the author, with Scopus H-index 42, of scientific books, and over 300 articles published in international journals and in the proceedings of international congresses.
