Researcher at Laboratory of Electron Microscopy
My academic career has seen me graduate twice, first in 2000 in Elementary Particle Physics and the second in 2021 in Clinical (Biomedical) Engineering. During my studies I deepened computer modelling and multivariate statistics, electronics, signal and image processing, as well as developing management-type transversal skills. My working career started at the Regional Agency for Environmental Protection (ARPAFVG) in 2002 where, since 2012, I have been involved with scanning electron microscopy (SEM/EDX) applied to the environmental field with duties ranging from microscopist activities to lab management. I joined the LAME group in February 2024 as a microscopist technologist contributing on laboratory data management, on workflows definition and FAIR-by-design data/metadata schemes. I play the role of “node” of the TLNet network of NFFA-DI for Area Science Park.
