TEAM LAAS
Livio Muccillo
Researcher at Laboratory of Multiomics – Area Sud Unit

After several years of studies in plant genetics, I shift my focus on oncological diseases. My scientific topics concern a) the research of new antigens and/or biomarkers b) their targetability using natural compounds and related biological effects on cancer prevention or for adjuvant therapies; c) studies of DNA methylation during epithelial-mesenchymal transition in several (stomach, colon, renal) cancer patients. My skills are on high throughput sequencing, single cell analysis and liquid handling automation. I am also working to develop an automated handbook for life sciences laboratories.
