Ortu Francesco
Francesco Ortu ha conseguito una laurea magistrale in Data Science & Scientific Computing presso l’Università di Trieste, con una tesi sull’interpretabilità dei modelli di linguaggio naturale, scritta sotto la supervisione di Alberto Cazzaniga presso l’Istituto di Ricerca e Innovazione Tecnologica (RIT) dell’Area Science Park.
Precedentemente, ha studiato Matematica presso l’Università di Roma La Sapienza. Attualmente, è ricercatore borsista presso il Laboratorio di Data Engineering (LADE).
I suoi interessi di ricerca includono principalmente lo studio dell’interpretabilità dei modelli di deep learning, con un’attenzione particolare ai modelli di linguaggio naturale (LLM) e alle loro applicazioni.

Francesco Ortu earned a master’s degree in Data Science & Scientific Computing from the University of Trieste, with a thesis on the interpretability of natural language models, written under the supervision of Alberto Cazzaniga at the Research and Innovation Technology Institute (RIT) of Area Science Park.
Previously, he studied Mathematics at the University of Rome La Sapienza. Currently, he is a early stage researcher at the Data Engineering Laboratory (LADE).
His research interests primarily include the study of the interpretability of deep learning models, with a particular focus on natural language models (LLM) and their applications.
